Artwork Activations & Performances – Verónica Troncoso
Free admission for the month of March
National Gallery Singapore, Gallery B
The performance is constructed by three performers who, through their bodies, their words, their voices and their own stories, tell the stories of migrant workers living in Singapore. Three young Singaporeans connect with themselves and others through their biographies as migrants.
A non-English-speaking migrant mother, a migrant great-grandfather who arrived by boat from China, and a maid who cared for her like a mother.
Three stories, three interpreters who weave and connect with each other, crossing the edges that separate us.
