Inspiring the passion

Why intern or volunteer with Singapore Biennale 2008

After a successful first outing in 2006, the Singapore Biennale returns this year with the theme of Wonder! We are calling all who are interested to join our team in this promising and dynamic endeavour. SB2006 was a blast because of the dedicated and inspiring contributions of our many volunteers and interns which was key to the smooth execution of the Biennale. They helped bring contemporary art to the audience, making the experience fun, enriching and accessible to all.

Singapore Biennale 2008 is charging ahead with the same vision. Bring along your experiences, interests, talents and hopes! The Singapore Biennale Secretariat warmly welcomes all passionate, committed individuals with the appropriate skills to join the dynamic and creative team.

If you want to help develop and nurture art interest in Singaporean society or simply enjoy interacting with the public and sharing your thoughts and zeal for the arts - we want you!

Throughout the course of the Biennale, interns and volunteers can anticipate gaining deeper insight into acclaimed artists' processes in creating a piece of work, as well as be involved in executing a creative vision. You will also get to learn new skills and meet new friends!
