Guided Tours

On-site Tours

As part of the Singapore Biennale 2006 education and outreach programme, On-Site Tours are conducted at City Hall and Tanglin Camp. Visitors who join in these tours will gain a better understanding of the artworks, artists, and how the artworks relate to the theme of BELIEF.

Duration: Each tour lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours with a tour guide to bring visitors around City Hall and Tanglin Camp.

Language(s) Available: Tours are conducted in three languages - English, Japanese and Mandarin, at various times.

Where: There is a gathering point at both locations. Please approach the on-site staff for the location of the gathering points.

Walking Art Trail Tours

Walking Art Trail Tours take visitors to the Waterloo area and the Singapore River, including various SB2006 venues where artworks are located. Apart from the various artworks located around the Waterloo and Singapore River areas, visitors are introduced to the rich history and heritage of these areas during the tours.

Duration: each Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. There are three different routes, and each route brings visitors to different locations.

Language(s) Available: All the tours are conducted in English

Where: The gathering point of the tours is at the Singapore Biennale Information Centre at Singapore Management University.

How Much: FREE

As the tours include visits to various religious sites, visitors are advised to be appropriately dressed.
