Arts & Culture Arts & Culture

Singapore's strongly ethnic and diverse culture is the result of an indigenous Malay culture interacting with Chinese and Indian immigrant influences, while the economy's rapid modernisation has produced a modern, urbane outlook.

These conditions have given rise to a vibrant and innovative arts scene that is well-known for the constant interaction and evolution of traditional forms and new contemporary arts.
